Selected design, bilingual content and production integration.

English is authoritative; Chinese reference .

Status: local production integration prepared from main ee17e58; commit confirmation pending. No PR, push or deployment. The owner selected Fieldnotes for main; the other three directions remain in the original local worktree. The integration includes the previously uncommitted foundation .

Reviews: one final independent comprehensive review, after implementation; earlier stage reviews are owner-waived. The final independent integration review passed on 2026-09-17. It covered production routing, content mapping, 404 recovery, CI/CD configuration, complexity, documentation and staged-file privacy; it is distinct from earlier visual reviews.

Requirements

Deliver English Home, Projects, project details and Experience at root routes, with Chinese equivalents under /zh/. Writing links to the existing blog; no Research tab. Retain the approved Fieldnotes composition, color portrait, clear biography, readable typography and accessible motion. Remove alternate concepts, comparison controls and placeholder content from the production source and output.

Use the approved current resume and established public portfolio material. Exclude raw PDFs, private contact details, local paths, credentials and session traces. Keep Markdown content, exact tool pins, tests, PR-based CI/CD configuration and the independent OINK site.

Plan and decisions

  • Fieldnotes provides the selected paper/green composition, layered hero, two featured projects and three compact entries. Dedicated cover art gives a quick project purpose; detail pages retain explanatory diagrams. The other designs are not runtime options.
  • Root routes replace /concepts/fieldnotes/ preview URLs. Existing public project slugs remain: cloud-storage, disaster-signals, laife, catdiary and asl. Three roles and two education entries come from paired Markdown.
  • Astro, CSS/SVG and native browser APIs suffice; no new UI or animation dependency. Keep keyboard links, reduced motion, project filters and experience scroll tracking. Desktop body text is 18px, mobile 17px; role/outcome text is 16px.
  • Consolidate browser checks around actual production routes and static-file interception, including OINK search. CI and local verification use the same suite without test servers.

Execution and sources

Promoted Fieldnotes into the sole production layout, removed concept/demo routes and simplified the profile fields to one introduction and About. Retained bilingual project/career content, the locked engineering foundation and CI/CD configuration. Setup and authoring guides now describe production routes.

The owner-approved current resume supports Ctrip, cloud storage, updated CDPH work, classification results and education. Earlier public portfolio , CV , lAIfe , ASL and indexed LinkedIn material supplement the record. Direct LinkedIn access was restricted; no full export is claimed. Public source notes omit private document identifiers. Image attribution is retained in NOTICE.

Ctrip’s 60M+ figure describes flight records. CDPH’s weekly manual review changed from over two hours to approximately 30 minutes. Classification results retain their dataset/task context. Duke’s 2027 graduation is expected. Illustrations do not claim fabricated service connections, audio input for CrisisMMD or model predictions.

Acceptance and migration

pnpm verify passed on 2026-09-17: zero type errors/warnings, 22 unit tests, 6 output checks, 32 desktop/mobile browser tests and real Markdown build fixtures. Astro produced 17 pages. Both pnpm deploy:dry-run validations passed without uploading. Checks include bilingual routes, responsive layout, motion/keyboard interactions, OINK search and private-input exclusion. The final independent integration review passed; its documentation consistency finding was corrected before the commit preview.

From the documentation-only main baseline, install the existing pinned tools/dependencies; there are no database or remote-state migrations. From the concept preview, switch bookmarks from /concepts/fieldnotes/… to /…, or /concepts/fieldnotes/zh/… to /zh/…. No preview-route redirects are shipped because these prototypes were not publicly deployed. Other concept and foundation-demo routes are intentionally absent.

Profile introductions.fieldnotes becomes introduction; fieldnotesAbout becomes about. Only case-studies, career and profile collections remain. No dependency versions, secrets or production settings change. Preserve local source worktrees and ignored acceptance instructions. For recovery after an authorized commit, use a follow-up revert through the normal PR/check process; no destructive reset or domain change is required. Remote enforcement, credentials, hosting and live acceptance remain unverified.
